Fui respons&aacute;vel pela audi&ecirc;ncia com o ministeri&aacute;vel em Bras&iacute;lia, no qual solicitei, na mesma ocasi&atilde;o, o repasse de cerca de R$ 3 milh&otilde;es para custear a compra de equipamentos hospitalares da nova unidade.<\/p>\n<p>Padilha se comprometeu a fazer an&aacute;lise bastante priorit&aacute;ria t&atilde;o logo o governo anuncie o in&iacute;cio do cadastramento das propostas, para efetuar o pagamento dos recursos, observando todas as caracter&iacute;sticas e a import&acirc;ncia do hospital do c&acirc;ncer para a regi&atilde;o noroeste do Paran&aacute;.<\/p>\n<p>O projeto da filial da Uni&atilde;o Oeste Paranaense de Estudos e de Combate ao C&acirc;ncer (Uopeccan) em Umuarama foi apresentado ao ministro Padilha pelo presidente da entidade, Ciro Kreuz, pelo vice-presidente, Dimer Jos&eacute; Webber, e pelos coordenadores da obra em Umuarama, entre eles o diretor da 12&ordm; Regional de Sa&uacute;de do munic&iacute;pio, Arec&iacute;dio Cassiano J&uacute;nior.&nbsp; O prefeito Moacir Silva tamb&eacute;m acompanhou o grupo que foi a Bras&iacute;lia pedir agilidade no repasse de recursos federais.<\/p>\n<p>A sinaliza&ccedil;&atilde;o de apoio do ministro da Sa&uacute;de foi recebida com emo&ccedil;&atilde;o pelo presidente da Uopeccan, que me reconheceu como o principal respons&aacute;vel pelo acolhimento do ministro &agrave; proposta da Uopeccan. &ldquo;Estamos realmente emocionados e felizes com o procedimento do deputado Zeca Dirceu, ainda mais por termos recebido a sinaliza&ccedil;&atilde;o positiva do ministro Padilha no sentido de aprovar esse valor de R$ 3 milh&otilde;es em prol do hospital do c&acirc;ncer, pedido pelo deputado&rdquo;, comemorou Kreuz.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Emendas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Al&eacute;m dos R$ 3 milh&otilde;es solicitados por mim, tramitam no Minist&eacute;rio da Sa&uacute;de duas emendas parlamentares, uma de bancada, no valor de R$ 5 milh&otilde;es, e outra individual, de R$ 2 milh&otilde;es, previstas para serem usadas na aparelhagem do hospital.&nbsp; A agilidade no pagamento de tais investimentos tamb&eacute;m solicitei.<\/p>\n<p>Mesmo considerando 2011 ano at&iacute;pico por conta do contingenciamento de recursos anunciado pelo governo federal. Reiterei o pedido de aten&ccedil;&atilde;o permanente do ministro ao novo hospital em Umuarama.<\/p>\n<p>Por isso fizemos quest&atilde;o de destacar a import&acirc;ncia do trabalho da Uopeccan ao ministro Padilha no sentido de garantir que n&atilde;o haver&aacute; cortes de nenhuma emenda e, principalmente, para que tais recursos sejam empenhados ainda este ano.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nNova unidade<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Com a conclus&atilde;o prevista para 2012, a unidade da Uopeccan em Umuarama pretende atender a demanda de mais 100 munic&iacute;pios do Noroeste e Sudoeste do Paran&aacute;. Atualmente, pacientes portadores do c&acirc;ncer s&atilde;o obrigados a viajar quil&ocirc;metros para serem consultados e tratados em Cascavel, cidade sede do hospital de apoio aos portadores da doen&ccedil;a.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&ldquo;Hoje o Uopeccan cascavel conta com mais de 400 funcion&aacute;rios, em torno de 80 profissionais da equipe multiprofissional, respons&aacute;veis pelo atendimento di&aacute;rio de cerca de 500 pessoas&rdquo; salientou o presidente da institui&ccedil;&atilde;o.<\/p>\n<p>Do n&uacute;mero total de pessoas atendidas, ainda segundo Ciro Kreuz, 20% s&atilde;o oriundas de Umuarama e regi&atilde;o. &ldquo;Com o funcionamento da nova unidade ser&aacute; poss&iacute;vel desafogar a demanda do hospital sede, al&eacute;m de atender, inicialmente, cerca de 250 pessoas por dia&rdquo;, estimou.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;Or&ccedil;amento<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>O novo hospital de apoio ao c&acirc;ncer de Umuarama tem 14 mil metros quadrados de &aacute;rea constru&iacute;da.
