As medidas j&aacute; est&atilde;o em vigor e v&atilde;o melhorar a qualidade da assist&ecirc;ncia oferecida pelo Sistema &Uacute;nico de Sa&uacute;de (SUS).<br \/>\n<span><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/span>Os investimentos bene&shy;ficiam 53 munic&iacute;pios de 15 estados (Goi&aacute;s, Cear&aacute;, Maranh&atilde;o, Pernambuco, Esp&iacute;rito Santo, S&atilde;o Paulo, Paran&aacute;, Rio Grande do Sul, Par&aacute;, Rio Grande do Norte, Piau&iacute;, Minas Gerais, Santa Catarina, Alagoas e Rio de Janeiro), contemplando 68 hospitais.<br \/>\n<span>&nbsp;<br \/>\n<\/span>Do total de novos leitos habilitados, 411 s&atilde;o para tratamento de adultos, 161 para rec&eacute;m-nascidos e 57 para crian&ccedil;as.
